UAE effectively controls Adan so I wouldn't expect anything less from them, they are heavily interested in preventing any future competition with Jabel Ali in this entire region, they know the massive potential SL and PL holds and sees them as a direct threat to their international trade, so they are doing their best to control population and economic centers in the Gulf of Aden/ Red sea, PL is directly getting fuked up the ass by UAE with the terrorist phenomena already prevelant in the Galgala mountains any military base by an emotional terrorist sympathising state that sees you as an economic future threat is not a good sign, I expect UAE to continue sponsoring terrorist from Socotra.

The exact same thing is true for SL, the deal in Berbera kind of showed the true face of UAE interest in the region, they clearly made it a binding condition that no other company can deal with port development or management in the entire region except for DPworld for 30 years, why this arbitrary number of years you might ask, we UAE is also building military bases, once they are complete they will extend the 30 years by force.

Djibouti made a great choice in kicking out DPworld by force before it reached that stage, but the Coons in SL and PL are literally blind to all this.
