كل عام و انتم بخير
Ciid Mubaarak All,
This place is filth.
There are people here who unashamingly insult entire clans 24/7 (even if they use the excuse of saying they were provoked) whilst professing to follow the Beautiful Deen.
Walaalayaal, think logically: when one of you insults a clan you are in fact insulting hundreds of thousands (Allah Ya'lam how many) innocent Muslimiin who are from that clan and who have done no harm to you? You've insulted their learned scholars, hooyoyinta and their families, the elderly etc. Imagine the amount of dambi you have committed... may Allah forgive us all. Isn't it better off to insult an individual rather than a whole people?
Even to insult a single Muslim is not permissible and is a sin and https://islamqa.info/en/12030 and in fact in Dawlad Islaam he/she must repent even if you think it's all games and fun. Forget insulting, to even backbite some behind their backs is sinful, Allah likened it to eating the flesh of your dead brother. Subhanaalahadhiim.
We are supposed to be Muslimiin, Muslimimiin with the best akhlaaq and character of all peoples, how can we invite others to the Deen when we are slacking so behind in character?
Rasulullah (sallallahu calayhi wasallam) himself practically displayed the best character in every aspect of life. Likewise he exhorted the Ummah to also adopt good akhlaaq. Hence he would repeatedly say: "The best amongst you is the one who has the best character (Sahih Bukhari)." In another Hadith Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) is reported to have said: "There will be nothing more weightier in the scales of a Believer on the day of Judgement than good character, and verily Allah Tacala detests a vulgar and foul-mouthed person (Tirmidhi)."
In a similar narration Abu Hurairah (R.A.) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu calayhi wasallam) was once asked as to what will enter people most in Jannah? Rasulullah (sallallahu calayhi wasallam) replied: "The fear of Allah and good character." He was also asked about what will enter people most into Jahannum. He replied: "The mouth and the private parts (i.e. the misuse of these organs) (Tirmidhi)."
I ask Allah once more to forgive us all. Amiin.
