Hargeysa waxa la bara Quran hadith And ciyaar batar.
Maalinta 18may we display guns in order to remember the bitter war. Qori bila qalin is useless. Hawiye qoriga inlaqaato anaga barnay laakin sida loo dhigo manu barin. There was a time hawiye was scared to kill a jabarti but they came though in the end came in guns blazing USC Muj caydiid cismaan caato cali wardhiiglay

It’s mainly in Mogadishu/Hawiye.

Remember I pointed this out 3-4 years ago.

RECOMMENDATIONS TO BEELAHA:

Isaaq kids have good upbringing and good values but their world and opportunities should not be confined to three towns. I consider Somaliland a limited window of opportunity. Their dreams and aspirations should not be hijacked to correct the mistakes of the past generations.

It is good that you have taught them to fix their own homes before fixing others but now its time to teach them to increase their horizon and expand their opportunities. Even birds don't catch their worms in their own nest. They fly else where.

Hawiye kids have great opportunities to excel but the gun culture and killings that they are brought up in, needs to be addressed and all toy importers should be forced to abandon importing toy guns. This only further glorifies the already dangerous Hawiye gun culture.

The Darod kids should not be taught hate for Isaaq and Hawiye. In most Darod households, before alif and baa, most kids are taught hate.

Sincerely

Anthropologist Dr. Hawdian.
