And to think that all that you see in those videos, the military aid, the close relationship with super powers, was acquired thanks to Isaaq territory (access to Berbera's strategic location in return for military and economic aid) and Isaaq diplomatic muscle (Omar Arte opening up the door for inclusion into the Arab League, bringing in millions in aid and grants), as well as Isaaq logistics (vast majority of hard-currency-earning livestock exports was controlled by Isaaq).

Without the very lucrative lease deals for Berbera, or the livestock trade, the Somali Republic would have had nothing, other than Bananas, to offer the world.

Must be burning our resident faqash

every single person in this thread so far have very little difference, did the Kacaan enslave you ? did we take away your religion, did we change your language ? no, we are one people and 30 years ago we were more powerful, how did that happen, we were suppose to be even more powerful today or at the very least maintain the same level, instead we have gone backwards, because of foreign interference, inferiority complex and jealousy of each other.

"We"?

Sit your ass down, you are boon marehan of all people.

If you disagree with what I said, then please state why and provide evidence. The fact that your beloved kacaan was kept afloat by Isaaq is undeniable:

1- Kacaan government was lucky in that when it illegally seized control of the country there was one single unit called Somali Republic, so in a way it had a golden chance to build on that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. But economically it was an aid recipient backwater just like other subsaharan states. The enormous interest it received from superpowers of the day (USSR, USA) was primarily due to the strategic Isaaq port of Berbera. That interest later translated into enormous military and economical aid packages from said superpowers in exchange for one thing, access to the Isaaq harbour of Berbera.

2- The second source of military and economic aid received by the Somali Republic was the Arab League. Access and entry to the League was engineered by Isaaq diplomat Omar Arte Ghalib and the massive Isaaq émigrée communities in the Gulf.

3- Three-quarters of Somali Republic's foreign currency earnings came from livestock exports through Berbera which was completely dominated by Isaaq.

These are the facts. Either provide evidence to the contrary or STFU.

There we go, the effeminate boon is giggling like a schoolgirl unable to refute a single point.

Of course it was Isaaq who did all that, as documented by every reliable source there is. What did naked boons in godforsaken buulu xaawo ever contribute? :)
