South West under control, Hiirshabelle under control. Galmudug is under the process of being under control. Just Puntland and Jubaland left over for now. Although I agree that Shariif Xassan needed to go, I hereby condemn the nonesensical interference of the Southwest state’s politics by the federal government using tactics that the President himself opposed before coming to power. Just to be clear, if you think the government has won in their wrestling with Shariif, you’re mistaken. His resignation is a testimony for Shariif’s shrewdness and a proof of why he will continue to be a force to reckon with in Southwest state of Somalia. He pulled out after recognizing that he will likely not win in this race as the public demand a change. Moreover, if he had remained in the race, the stooge sent to represent the government was going to make a headwind(financed by the CORRUPT Farmajo and ina KHAYRE who instead of building lasting institutions opted to be nearsighted in their vision to take opponents down one by one, with money meant for them to service the Somali public). Now, the race will be between Mukhtar Robow(the leader believed to restore stability and justice) and farmajo stooge. If it happens without interference from Mogadishu, which will now be minimized by Shariif will to defend the honor of this election, Mr Robow will win and thus Shariif once again will appear victorious by playing the savior role. So in short, you are witnessing a tactical retreat by Shariif that will keep him relevant for very long time. Shariif sees the advantage of his long term plan and concedes the potential short term gains graciously. In the event that Mr. Robow isn’t elected, despite the overwhelming public in konfur galbeed’s support, the federal government will be responsible for any setbacks as a result of their interference. The people should be allowed to have the dialogues about their future. The days when one dictates the will of the people is over in Somalia. Beware!!!
