They just fell right into a trap.
I would never trust an Oromo in a million years.
ONLF are so backward thinking.Thwy refused the same deal with TPLF 10 years ago making a peace deal using the Ethiopian constitution as a framework..There is nothing new or guarantor all they accepted is that they can be able seek successionism which is found in article 39 of the Ethiopian consituiton. So in reality they were proxies fighting for dictator Afaworki.
Abdi iley is gone but the Oromo ruthless campaign is still on they are burning villages and business premises of somalis still yet the Ethiopian govt is silent. They are tryong to make it look as if its conflict between two groups while its apparent its a one sided conflict where Oromo youths with the help of qerro and their liyu polis are causing the attacks.

There's nothing to trust about Gallas when they are not even in control of their own destiny and have to go above and beyond appeasing their Amhara handlers. Amhara ordered them to disarm OLF----all while Amhara rebels remain heavily armed and TPLF's Tigray is off limit to the likes of Ras Abiy (the modern day Ras Gobana).

Abiy is no different than the hundreds of foot soldiers Amharas have always maintained. In few years he will be gone and the Gallas still having no solution to all their ills and no step closer to ever achieving anything except achieving things for the Amhara.

Gallas are just foot soldiers and foot soldiers cannot be dealt with. You have to go direct to the master and that's the Amhara.

Abiy is just a figurehead like Hailemariam. The only difference is the tasks he is given and the image is asked to 'portray'.

I would put all ONLF in Liyu and deploy most of them on Galla border. And ask all Somali tribes in the region to provide a military quota----no less than 5% of their populations.

I am absolutely agree with you. We don't want the repeat of 1994 Tigre+Eriteria against ONLF.

Teeri reer cabdulle is dead actually habarawal is doing good we are moving back in jigjiga no more hostility against us in jigjiga we send reer cabdulle back to qabridhahare where they belong. As for Failmaajo he can't even control one block but he is after your madoobe and that will be very interesting. In the next year or so. As for ONLF being given a referendum I don't see that happening gallas will not let go of the gass and oil also you have to understand you have no leverage at all two play hard ball with meqershe lemme and abiye axmed in this game. In other words Ethiopia unity 'remains intact

Typhoons marehan I believe. He gets mad, I have noticed, when somwone says Boon.

We oromo respect onlf even if we disagree with it being based around 1 clan, when Somali regional state has way more than 1 clan.

Awwrastale isn't jarso, jarso gave up on living within Somali territory by 2004, when the darood elites oppressed them and didn't want to share power with them in places like tulluguled.
I think he is half tigrayan half somali so he's confused(awwrastale).
Jarso are warriors who only need arms to repel liyyu as they've done recently....
We have jarso in western oromoland too, in maccaa, my clan.
