Django. The most important thing now is unity. ONLF declared openly that they would never abandon their goal of self-determination. Now, you have a regional admin (consist all of Somalis) in bed with ONLF and their ultimate goal is self-determination. There's no doubt that the Ethiopian government will try to undermine the cause, and create rift between us, but if we're united that would be hard for them to execute.
I will say again.Successionism should be shelved. We all know Ethiopia will never accept it in a million years. So rather than ONLF making a fool out of themselves its better for them to champion transparency and accountability within the region. They need to be the voice of the Somalis be it in the Kilil or Ethiopia at large.

Successionsm is not an answer. That is a declaration of war which means Ethiopia will rig the referendum and appoint another Abdi Iley or Cabdul majid. The people of the region should adopt what somalis in NFD have adopted.

ONLF has no capacity to trigger another liberation struggle.

Once Again Ethiopia will never honour its promise or pledge. If there should be a referendum then there should be a UN peace keeping force in place to create a buffer zone. Also the rate at which Oromos are encrouching on the somali lands is fast.

Django. Referendum with UN envoys present should be held, and beware the region is not as it was decade ago when the world didn't have any interest. The oil production is changing the political game this time.
Peace should be restored in the region to keep the oil supply going, and you can't get peace if locals aren't onboard. The fat Arabs of Gulf aren't much more noble and sophisticated than Somalis, but it is the oil interest of the west that kept status-quo.

The same fat arabs are bank rolling Abye.
Successionism is not a viable answer.Somalia proper is in chaos. So its them who are influencing the region and they dont want a threat.Oil is being replaced by renewable energy.Europe is forcasting on using electric hybrid cars by 2020.The only thing is the gas in the Ogaden which infact rivals the gas in Qatar.

Apart from that never trust UN.they were there present when Meles was butchering our people and they humbly turned a blind eye.

I think they can use my advise since they are doing it wrong all over they keep trusting their enemies tigre from asmara than tigre from meqelle than gallas from jimma. I am sure they will not use qurjiiles input since qurjiile failed khatumo ssc nsum. And all their leaders surrenderd

Django. You have Liyu police+ONLF force combined with same goal, let us first give peace a chance. Today, is not like yesterday where there were no Liyu-police, just ONLF with no support from other Somalis. Guns woould be the last option had things go the other way. Let me remind you as well that Ethiopia is not as united as it was back in1994. The most important thing is unity, and now it seems intact. Those who keeped ONLF at bay were the Liyu, and now, having realised their mistakes by having a strong leadership they're welcoming, mixing, and making up to them.
Keep calm there are forces to be reckon with in case needed.

Unity for my Somali People!!
