Dr Cagjar's grand speech on the historical day

Postby AwRastaale » Mon Dec 03, 2018 9:27 pm

I didn't know things were as bad as they were.

Even Cagjar was very emotional. Overall it was a good speech that covered appreciation, the orphans and widows, understanding the significance of this opportunity, he touched on the dangers of early euphoria, divisions, propaganda and lack of credibilities/research, nepotism, he warned against selfishness and short sighted gains. He warned against possible hijacking unless people unify and focus on the long term vision.

He warned against seeking revenge and reprisals.

It would be good if he took this opportunity to underline some of the visions of his administration both short and long term. Overall, Cagjar was touched by the event and his speech covered important issues.

"xaqiraadii guud ee jirtay" meaning the contempt and demorilising tactics used by Ethiopians toward Somalis. Never heard before Somali leader expressing his views so openly.
