The first one in 1901 with Ethiopian forces allied with the Sacad Muuse ( Axmed Cabdalle and reer Samatar, whom the dervish massacred in 1900 and looted) from in the Ethiopian regions caused the dervish to flee and recross the border into somaliland without meeting them . The forces attacked the Ogadeen who were a year ago allied with the dervishes looted the Habar Awal and Ciidagale.
