MX was the only Darood clan not to sign treaties with the colonizers. We fight the British in Jubbaland. And we joined the Darawiish along with some Dhulbahante clans. Some were anti Darawiish. Maxamed Zubeer of the Ogaden were colonial dogs, but Cawlyahan rebelled with us in Jubbaland against the British. Cali Geri was loyal to the Sayid. Hawiye were irrelevant to even sign treaties and Isaaq were brought out of their mountains and made into the Somaliland camel corps. Issa signed one with the French. That how it was. Majority of Dhulbahante didn't but some turned after harshness of the Sayid. Majeerteen were Italian lapdogs. That only rebelled after the fascists took over. Before that, they were partners of Italy.
When you state something as truth it better be......saying Mereexaan "was the only Darood" and later implying Dhulbahante signed a treaty with the occupier by saying " the majority of Dhulbahante didn't " which means some did and later giving a reason to imply some Dhulbahante "turned after the harshness of the Sayid" is kind of bending facts to suite your lie that Mareexaan " the only Darood clan that did not sign a treaty with the occupier"
The fact is Dhulbahante had two Garaads then and neither them nor any chief under them ever signed a treaty with the occupier..........here is the clans that signed them treaties in with the occupier in Somaliland
• Haber-Awal tribe 4th July 1884 in Berbara, Signed by 29 elders.
• Habar-Toljecle tribe 26th December 1884 in Karin and Hiis, signed by 21 elders.
• Isse tribe 31st December 1884 in Sayla , signed by 21 elders.
• Gadabursi tribe 11th December 1884 in Sayla, signed by 11 elders.
• Habar Garhajis tribe 3rd January 1885 in Maydh, signed by 19 elders.
• Warsangali tribe 27 January 1886 in Bander Qasim, signed by 17 elders.
Therefore with all due respect to Mareexan they don't holld the spot of the " only Darood tribe that didn't sign a treaty with the occupier"......
Ina adeer. My apologies but not all Darawiish were Dhulbahante like not all Ogaden were Darawiish as well. Some were collaborators of the enemy. But not to the extent of the idoor. They were dogs of the British. Like the Dhabacyos were the Italians.

MX and Dhulbahante are still the most wadani clans of Darood. Period. Ogaden is too but sometimes their dabodhilifs ruin their unity.

Ina adeer, my opologies too, with all the respect i (and most of the Somalis i encountered in the north always had for Mareexaans) i should have let it be......but i was a bit mad at you cause sometimes from your comments i get this feeling that you want to turn other Somali tribes against us.....instead of working towards bringing us all together.........i will always hold Mareexaan as the ideal wadani Somali tribe .........and the rest also wadanis in thier own ways.......these treaties happend after long hostilities and resistances.....Somalis were involved in fighting and resisting any attempts to colonize them. They never welcomed any explorers or military adventurists especially the English seafarers like W.F Owen 1823 -36 (an explorer, found out) who would stop by the northern Somali coast to take food and ration. An illustrative incident being the ‘Mary Ann’ which was an English ship that got wrecked on the shores of Berbera in the northern part of Somalia in 1825. The ship was attacked by Somalis and it resulted in the first ever agreement between a Somali tribe and English to take place. In it was agreed that;
 Somali tribe should pay 6000 pounds
 Stop attacking the English ships

And again in 1854-55 when a resting place of an explorer, a captain and a lieutenant was attacked in Berbera resulting in the killing of lieutenant Storyan and the wounding of Captain Speke. This incident angered the English and they sent two armed ships to blockade Berbara and after talks between Somali tribes and the English it was agreed;
 that a compensation blood money of 15,000 Spanish dollars to be paid for the dead lieutenant
 and the English be allowed to trade freely in the northern Somali coast

Three decades later the English made separate deals with the northern Somali tribes or Somaliland which resulted in that part becoming an English protectorate which gave then a footing to the occupier in the form of an office and a residence to a representative. IT TOOK ALMOST 80 YEARS FOR THAT TO OCCUR.....AND THAT WAS AN IDOOR RESISTANCE (ESPECIALLY A HABARAWAL RESISITANCE)..........................................
Anways......love and peace.

Beenta boonta marexan marexan in Jubbaland were useless askaris serving the british.
MZ killed the British govonor of Kismaayo.

MSB erased Abdirahman Mursal from the history books because it exposed Marexan.They ran away from the Satid refusing to join his campaign they came to Jubbaland to seek refugee and fight for the British.

Show me a text Marexan fighting British.
Onetime Voltage tried to plagiarise Cawliyahan hostory and claim it to be Marexan.Cawliyahan dominated the majority of Gedo(renamed by MSB)
The battle.of Salagle/ Markable where Cabduraxman Mursal wasted The king African rifles.

Marexan were living in the waste lands of Jubbaland inhospitable luuq being chased by degodia.Garbaharey,Bula Xaawo was a Garreh town.Even luq was sertled by Dir.Marexan were hunters and gatherers especially reer xassan.

It was Maxamed Siyad Bare that expanded the influence of Marexan in Juboyinka using the might of the kacanka military.

The maassacre committed against Cawliyahan in Bardheere in 1980s and MZ in Afmadow in 1980s will never be forgotten.
Marexan wa xoolo they cut womens hands and tits of Ogaden villagers,torched villages killed and ransacked villages.That is the begining of the end of MSB.
What Marexan did in Bardheere was very horrific they massacrdd and dumped villages into the river Jubba.
If I mention this gross human violation these mofos would call it cuqdad.

We havent revenged yet for what happened in JL in the 80s.No clan has been such ungrateful as Marexan.wa yeey.
