That’s a weird thing to be critical of.

 @ the comments. Murax I agree w/ you. You can't expect our diaspora well educated health professionals particularly trauma surgeons, Emergency room doctors, nurses, etc to forgo their lifestyle for a qarax. And so the status quo continues.

Murax what about this? The guy actually says al shabab failed. Reminds me of Bagdad Bob. Few injuries kulaha. Mayor yariisow got a minor injury kulaha. This why I cant stand nabar iyo naxdin. Bunch of groupies who hates taking responsibility. Why are farmaajo n kheire not talking? I feel sad for yariisow he was the biggest guulwade of nabar iyo naxdin. Yet the president n pm couldn't even wish him a speedy recovery. Used n abused left to die. Let this be a lesson to the rest of the guulwade's.

The budget SFG in 2019 is 340m half of that comes donor money.

With millions of population, civil servants, the army, and etc etc, it's not enough.
The Gov has no financial muscle to build hospitals or run a hospital.

The paths to peace and prosperity is a long way, but we'll get there eventually inshaa allah.

I find it weird that you find it weird how we cannot be critical of the fact that not only is a mayors office blown up, but kaba sii daran we don’t even have the medical facilities to treat him after the injury but have to fly him somewhere else. We will not make any progress until we finally realize how low we have fell as Somalis in relation to the rest of the world.

The country is struggling with a well armed and financed terrorist group....not only that, there are a number of unscrupulous politicians who are determined to sabotage any progress.

The solution is to redouble our efforts and get behind the govt and law/order.

We cannot hand the country and people to AS and moryaan. :som:

Murux is right, this is beyond shameful. Instead of taking the mayor out of the country for treatment, he should have been airlifted to one of the many world class hospitals within Somalia, like Faarax Trauma Facility at the University of Cadaado Medical Centre.

Let’s not forget that when MSB got into a car accident he got airlifted overseas for treatment and didn’t want to take a chance at Digfir. Mind you this was in the early 1980s. What are you expecting the SFG to do in the current state of somalia
