I am taking a break from tribal politics on Snet, my final thoughts

Postby Talo alle udaa » Mon Sep 30, 2019 9:38 pm

I think overall Somalia is heading in the right direction.

I believe Farmaajo is a good man with a good vision, how
we get to where he wants the country to go will either lead to healing & reconciliation or clan conflicts, and further disintegration.

Arrogance, false hubris, delusion of grandeur aka "Qabka Somalida" is what 90% of the topics on this forum comes down where clan A claims to be better than Clan B. We know the prophet (saw) advice against pride, arrogance, and sense of being superior. Yet this is what is perpetuated and what I have observed over the years. What a man is he whose confidence and pride is based on his own achievements rather than fable tales.

I want to specifically say I have nothing but love for the MX and the Isaaq (two groups who i may have some run ins). Some of my best personal friends come from these tribes and knowing them personally I could never view them as my "enemies" as some have repeatedly stated.

Finally, I am asking for forgiveness for any petty insults i may have caused against anyone or any group.

Waslaam.

Talo alle udaa,

You were a pleasure to discuss with. Didn’t always agree but you’re one of the few civilized. I myself am out of here soon.

 First of all I want to join the ranks of those who view your decision , before all of us ( which means there is no coming back ) to give up fadhi ku dirir , in a favourable light .
One point I am struggling to understand is how do you come to conclusion that Farmajo leadership and vision is good if it can go two different ways --> in your words. either prosperity or total disaster ??
That's not a vision , my brother , that's a gamble
