Django I never lived in Eastleigh in my life. I was in the Westlands area. There was massive looting of the entire shopping area. The Kikuyus went on the rampage Looting stores. The radio station was take over. The Indians were cowering in their homes hiding from mobs. Unspeakable horrors befell some Indian families whose women folk were assaulted. Anyway we were living in Eastleigh after my parents relocated from.Xamar.
Prior to being in Xamar they were living in Uganda.So after the over throw of Idi Amin they escaped to Kenya for a year then moved to Xamar and came back to Nairobi.
My parents loved Uganda but after Idi amin was over thrown the civil war in Uganda escalated till Museveni took office.By then they were settled in Kenya and would occasionaly visit Xamar.
