waiting from the president of Horn of Africa who prefers to get his things done via the federal govt instead of the regions.

"Additionally, Abiy Ahmed has sought to mediate between Kenya and Somalia in their protracted conflict over rights to a disputed marine area. There is now hope for a resolution to this conflict"

"Wadani" slogans are different what is going behind the curtain. why they were "exploring ways of resolving the problem" in NewYork?
diplomatically, one a third country thats Europian(not a third world" involves in an issue between two countries it means they had some assurance from the other country and like abdiwali gaas facilitated the KDF invasion of JL there is information of Kheyre accepting to solve it peacefully between the two countries in exchange of supporting him with a regional backing(JL)

No.

1. There is 0% chance Farmaajo or the Somali gov will deviate from the ICJ Court.

Even if they could, Parliament would probably impeach them the same day.

2. Abby Ahmed may have won Noble Peace Prize for his extraordinary gesture towards Eritrea (which I really think makes him deserving of the Noble), but he is still the head of a country with its own strategic interest. Kenya's blatant disrespect at Kismaayo Airport is the only thing governing Ethiopian decision making about Kenya-Somalia now.

Someone said the Ethiopians may be less emotional than the Somalis, but they are more vindictive. You cross them once and that's it.
