its not madoobe its the islamist, the mistake madoobe made was to allow these snakes to live among the shacab like civilians.

the islamist in Mogadishu and jubaland are coordinating, because there is a major offensive coming up that will drain their tax revenues.

al shababs majority taxes now come from xamar business, al shabab is losing jubaland very fast.
the akwaan in jubaland are becoming more daaroodist they are fed up with hawiye islamist

hawiye islamist are as incompetent as their politicians, the islamist in xamar have convinced the hawiye to join them and now hooganka hawiye waxa uu haya islamist, these people have no hope.

Why now? Now would be the worst time for madoobe to carry out any acts remotely violent, since peace in the city would actually go far to further cement/legitimize his presidency in the eyes of the IC.

Believe me, these could be Mareexan’s desperate attempt to start civil unrest. That the same thing they did 4 yrs ago when Ahmadoobe took over Kismaayo, there were assassinations in Kismaayo and daily explosions in Kenyan, until most of them were killed or captured

ahmed madoobe has good relations with IC, they just not happy with his self coronation never the less the guys and gedo and lower jubada are doing great job in defeating al shabab with americans being noticed unlike the hawiye who keep attacking italians, americans and IC installations.

jubaland is for Americans high yield low cost operation, americans are talking to daarood elders in nairobi to sort out the federal government jubaland dispute

soon there will be meeting nairobi of OG and marexaan elders, the problem in jubaland is marexaan internal issue and OG internal issue.

the only problem that people have with madoobe and that invites the vulture federal government and its opposition hyenas is, he could not create a due process and election mechanism, madoobe delegitimized himself with his own hands.

madoobe fnal stroke is when he insist that he will select OG mps for federal government ala faroole, then habada kismaayo way ka bilaawan not between marexaan and OG but between OG and OG

makahiil and cawliyahan are angry due to madoobe insistence on have monopoly on OG affairs with some input from garrisa elders and OG nairobi businessman.

dont confuse OG social media support with reality on the ground and what people say in private

the fact is madoobe is a stabilizing forces for now ,the biggest security risk that jubaland faces is, OG internal squabble and the pressure people are putting on federal government to sort out the jubaland minority issues (hawiye)

Well said.

Marexan pretend they are your allies but do this.
One tinme in 2013 madoobe donated an suv to a maeexan nabadoon.

The SUV was packed with bombs and they used it to target madoobe. He almost lost his life in an explosion.
The marexan nabadoon was executed. He thought his nabadoon titile will give him immunity.

But Madoobe never learns.I do beleive Gedo shoild be detached from JL.Maeexan expelled from JL thar is the only time peace will prevail in JL.

This peiple have no morals they committed the Cacasey bombing and tried to pin it on madoobe.

This rift btwn og subclans is actually quite exaggerated, i know this because I have family in madoobe close circle. I dont see ogs fighting each other again like in the 90s which lead to jees losing kismaayo in the first place, this would never have happened if we were as United as we are now.

With that said, what is farmaajos aim? Why is he throwing jubaland, which marehan is part of, to the wolves, all just to secure his reelection? Then what? What is his end goal? We all know he isnt going to disintegrate federalism, fix the country and secure himself a legendary status. Wtf is his end goal?

Mx have unfortunately gambled on farmaajo, and I think they are already regretting it.

Ahmed madoobe igu soo orod ma aha. Nin xadhig iyo dil loogu cagajuglayn karana ma aha, Xabada mar horay diiratay.

We will oust farmaajo first, mx will eat their humble pie, and come to the table like adults.

Then thinks will workout.

Qaan Mareexaan waa qaaxo kugu maqan as a reputation has become a double edged sword. It's good for warning enemies but bad for making peace.

I say that because in diplomacy, it's easier to reach a compromise with an enemy who doesn't fear you. If they fear you, they will be insecure about any hard decision that has to be made becaue of the possibility it makes them look weak.

Similarly nimankaan ilma adeeradeen ah, I have observed generally that Ogaden in Jubbaland come from a position of fear with regards to Marehan. As a side not, it has made me personally critique the actions of Marehan that led to this and accept "godob" baa laga galay Ogaadeen.

As for the reputation I talked about above, it has expanded beyond Somali knowledge.

1. This was the British over a 100 years ago before the border between Ethiopia and British East Africa Protectorate (which Jubaland was part of) was even set.

The British said the Garre and Marehan were the most exposed to Ethiopia/Abbysinian interaction of the inhabitants of the British Protection as the two major clans on the fault zone.

The British felt they had to "protect" the Garre from the Ethiopian state because of what they describe as their relative weakness, but the British also felt they had to "protect" the Abbysinians from the Marehan because of what they describe as their strength and independence of spirit. The protectorate, in the context of Ethiopian interaction, basically felt responsible for defending the Garre and keeping Marehan "in check."

Image

2. Another way qaan Mareexaan waa qaaxo kugu maqan has expanded beyond Somalis is notice how the Kenyans speak of Marehan in Mandera District where Marehan are a small minority. This is not even about Jubbaland where Marehan are a majority.

In this description of Mandera District, the Kenyans labal Marehan the 5th clan. While acknowledging that the British actively banished all Marehan from Mandera District after Jubbaland was given to Italy (with a major reason for even giving Jubbaland being to get rid of Marehan), notice how well the Kenyans have come to understand qaan Mareexaan waa qaaxo kugu maqan.

"Fearless", "death or glory", "militant"
5. The Marehan

Enter the realm of Marehan, considered the “fifth clan” and a fearless death or glory militant tribe. Their reputation precedes them, and what they lack in numbers is made up by their tigerish personas. The Marehan clan who are closely related to the Ogaden and Harti clans assisted the forces of Imam Ahmad Gure in the invasion and subsequent conquest of Abyssinian Empire in the 1534. In the 19th Century, they fought on the side of the Dervishes of Sayid Mohamed Hassan against the British Colonial Rule in Mandera. This earned the Marehan the wrath of the British who expelled them across to Somalia, and by 1945 banished all Marehans from Mandera District.

Voltage,

That book and all your sources are incorrect, dunno why the Brits are talking about us being in Doolow Pre Colonial times. Django did his research, has his facts and it looks like MSB AUN settled us into Gedo.
