It's time for Banadir self administration

Postby ReerGarowe » Sat May 02, 2020 9:54 am

Take a leaf out of South Yemen and Puntland and let the people of Banadir have a self governing local authority that is fully autonomous from the central government.

Let's remake Somalia into a confederal country of 6 independent regional states including Banadir State

Brother could you tell me why is Lower Shabelle part of Southwest State when it could form with just Banadir a separate regional state. Maybe it could be called 'Greater Mogadishu State'.

Koonfur Galbeed, Hirshabelle, Galmudug and the new Banaadir state that will consist all of the old Banaadir districts Minus 3 old Districts (Shangaani, Xamar weyne and Boondheere, forget which is which perhaps Abkoowe will tell us) will be under the New Mogadishu Capital.

The Mogadishu Capital wil be the one over-lording those 4 HAG states, i.e those 4 states will be mere regional governors governed in Mogadishu,...

Its already happening with Pres.Sheikh Shariif taking the helm,

It's better that all other states be like Puntland and be fully autonomous. We see very clearly a central government that doesnt accept to be very weak like the current Cheese regime going on to become a threat to all regional states

Federal regional states should be composed of the regions that existed before 1991. Somali Republic, if it does reunite, will have eight states and Banadir should form a state with Lower Shabelle
