Maybe not in reality but in terms of perception Cagjar comes across as the most pro Ethiopia leader of DDSI ever mainly because of aligning himself with a federal government that, for the last two years, is much more centralist and in tune with Ethiopiawinet

The problem we, Somalis, have is our division that always make us to seek foreign support to beat our fellow Somali opposition. In this case Cagjar vs Shide.

Apparently Shide is not really a real ethnic Somali yet he heads the Somali region branch of the ruling Prosperity Party. Anyways I just can't see in the short to medium term any party advocating independence being able to rule DDSI let alone actually delivering independence.

So the best way forward is for firstly all parties working together to ensure free elections and democracy be realised at the regional and federal level. Secondly the DDSI governments to come must deliver on uniting all Ethiopian Somalis across clan lines and bring about peace, security and socioeconomic improvements

Reer Garoowe Shide is irrevalent now as the old party joined the PP. Both Mustafe and Axmed Shide are members of PP party whilst Abiye is the head of the party. The old party where Shide was head of has been integrated into PP.
Mustafe is calling the shots now with the expense of federalism and Somali rights hence the buffoon above is calling to give him dictatorship power.

There are others who are in constant pursuit of Mustafe's position causing him to concede more Somali rights to keep his position....a grim reality.
