Thanks to the illegal move of Farmajo remaining president after his term ended without any agreement with key political stakeholders in Somalia, I'm afraid that this has now created a precedent whereby future successors of Farmajo as well as any president of a FMS can if possible remain in office without permission possibly
I hear that Ahmed Madobe is meant to be serving an interim 2 year term which ends this summer as declared by the FG but this is nonsense surely since the JL state constitution says that the state president serves a four (or is it five?) year term so regardless of whether Farmajo or another federal president is in position by the summer best believe Mudane Ahmed Madobe will still be in power by then and will remain until around 2023 or 2024 permitting he is alive and well
