The Somali National Army will continue to develop as the rest of the country's institutions similarly continue to develop.

However, after a long chain of "stress tests" culminating in the tests of 18th and 19th of February, I can sufficiently say the SNA is ready to start relieving AMISOM of the presently existing mandate.

The SNA IS READY.

SOMALIA IS READY.

IT IS TIME.

GOODBYE AMISOM.

After watching videos of the "peaceful protest" and how it consisted of 95% heavily armed militiamen, I am very convinced that the so-called "peaceful protest" was a coup attempt. It is as though, the opposition's intentions were to walk up to Villa Somalia and force themselves in.
