I have been observing this guy very closely for about couple months;

1. I read all of his writings.
2. I read all of his twitter postings
3. I read all of his responses

I have had a lot of respect for him---but, I have observed superficiality that is unmistakable if you contextualize and situate his different writings/responses into a wider, whole analysis.

Not only is there clear superficiality, but his chosen method of defense is "gullibility."

If you then take his wider, whole analysis and do a "chronological" analysis comparing to a couple others that curiously can be compared to him in strategy (Abdirashid Hashi of HIPs and ex Mins Lady Maryan Qasim)---

---what you get is something so obviously coordinated and EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY, completely subsequential to various outliers in time when the UAE is facing acute negative public relations in Somalia.

The recent Somali Gov attack on UAE interference is one such activation moment where u you can tell the UAE is particularly desperate and activated the Arman and the "nice face" group.

It is so superficial. The rot is deep wallahi.

This election entanglement has really opened a lot of our eyes.

The easiest way to know if he's a UAE/Saudi Agent is simple. Look at his Twitter. If he never commented on the Yemeni war by criticizing the Saudi/UAE involvement, the countless Saudi bombardments on civilian infrastructure then BING BING BING. You've got yourself a highly suspicious case of someone employed by UAE/Saudi intelligence services.

He made an ambiguous Yemeni reference towards the UAE which was from this year (Oddly enough). But in this post, he was not criticizing the UAE. Far from it. He was trying to make it appear as though he was criticizing the UAE, but he chose his words carefully with ambiguity and misdirection.

Good observation. I've been reading Arman's articles for many years, and while he isn't open about who he supports, if he were to openly support a camp, it would be Qatar, Turkey and late Egyptian president Morsi. He isn't of the same manhaj as the UAE's. He has been critical of every government since Carta, not only Abdullahi Yusuf.

Appealing to the past doesn't negate transformation. Farmaajo of all people was vehemently anti-Ethiopia, but because of circumstances namely the decline of TPLF, he changed how he interacts with them.

The vacuum created by TPLF fall, the intense engagement by Kenya, the crisis created by the Arab Spring-Yemen implosion-Rise of Turkey-vicious cat fight between Qatar and UAE---with the surprise longevity of Farmaajo Gov from 6 month gov cycles...

... created an extremely dynamic environment for client demand.

Arman has to feed himself. His Speaking fees and other services offered may not necessarily be enough to cover comfortable living.

I have read probably what you have read and having observed you and relayed it to you a number of times, I find myself questioning how you didn't reach a different conclusion to what you reached.

I don't know anything about the man. I have nothing on him.

I read "voice" in writing.

The salient effect of Arman is "superficiality" and the only logical conclusion is "Deception."

And this is even when you remove the fact he fits a pattern shared with a number of other actors.

What's to note is, Arman is a civilian, a freelance writer, who wields little/no influence as he doesn't command an armed force, wealth, academic achievements, the ears of Western, African or Middle Eastern governments, etc. In short, someone no different to I, you, others, each entitled to express his/her own opinions & recommendations.

This Is influence and influence is Power. You don't have to have a Title.

Just look at Rush Limbaugh who just died. He had more power to directly inform a larger number of Americans than all the political actors of the US put together except for the Oval Office.
