Covid-19 entry to Somalia/ Mogadishu

Hey snet fam..........is a negative covid-19 test required for entry into Somalia/mogadishu?

I got a niece travelling back from Turkey via Addis in a few days and can't find any definitive advice.

The British Govt website says a negative test is required before entry......but you know Somalis.....what's the deal fam?

It's required. Your relative should exercise maximum hygiene safety and probably get vaccinated, although it would be better if travel to Mogadishu is delayed. There's a strain (possibly the South African) that's affecting the city. I've lost distant relatives & acquaintances to the strain.
