There should be a documentary on this. It happened so quick. I think most Somalis don't even remember how Ahmed Madoobe came to power in Kismaayo. All they see or hear is Kenya's involvement and presence in Kismaayo. Rumors had it that Hodan Nalayeh was in the process of doing a documentary on Ahmed Madoobe's Raskambooni organization and the situation on the ground, but unfortunately she lost her life due to a terrorist attack on the hotel she was staying at.

I found a video on youtube showing the time Ahmed Madoobe's Raskambooni + Kenya Defense Forces captured Kismaayo. The heavy presence of Kenyan forces 8 years ago is astonishing. They're still in Kismaayo, right?

Let me understand your logic. As a Isaq, you don't border Marehan. You have zero contact with Marehan. You border Ogaden. Ogaden and several Isaq sub clans have had major conflicts for at least the past 200 years. Yet, you want us to be convinced that you just happen to love Ogaden more than Marehan?

Let me understand your logic. As a Isaq, you don't border Marehan. You have zero contact with Marehan. You border Ogaden. Ogaden and several Isaq sub clans have had major conflicts for at least the past 200 years. Yet, you want us to be convinced that you just happen to love Ogaden more than Marehan?
We’ve also had 200 year conflict with the Duikbahnte and now we want to make a state with them. What’s your point.

You have to study the psychology of humiliation to understand why 1) Caytame made a topic like this and 2.) Big Break seemingly presents the disconnect pointed out.
I won't expand on this explanation in detail, but I will say that it inspires me to be critical of how my Marehan has historically contributed to it and be more outspoken about its effects in the future.

I think you're confusing things. This is not the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. The Dhulbahnte are not the enemy. We share common culture and regions with them. This apocalyptic scenario you sell to some naive Dhulbahnte's to help further your own interest is far from reality.

Marehan has ruled from Raas Casayr to Ras Kambooni for 21 years, life is a cycle and Kings can fall but they one day shall rise again. We are going through the toughest period in our history but we shall persevere with strength and like a pheonix breaking out of her ashes rise and rise again.
I personally have no beef with Isaaq in fact I have habar jeclo cousins whose mom is my Aunt. Isaaq never harmed my clan or interests so why should I? I dont understand your beef with Marehan but maybe has something to do with 1988 ? You do realize 70% of Marehan today are 30 years and younger and didnt even experience in the pre civil war era?

I also do believe marexaan will not rule kismayo in the Forseable future. Madoobe has been in power since 2013. Farmaajo sitting in the bunker4 years couldn't get anything done other then sending troops to gedo.
