“Fears Of Civil War If Agreement Not Reached”

Postby Murax » Wed Mar 31, 2021 3:08 pm

One of the most comical narratives, the Kenyan/TPLF sympathizers, Deni led Madasha, and other propagandists try to peddle. They try try to create a false sense of urgency after stalling the elections, in hopes their phantom dreams will be capitulated to out of panic.

No, there won’t be a civil war

Yes, the Government, institutions, ambassadorships, military, police, will continue to function with no hiccups.

Yes, spoilers, disruptors will either be barred from parliament, left to rot in Xalane tents, or ignored.

Please stall as long you want, enjoy your Xalane tent prison, or paying high declare, aljazeera hotel fees. It is entirely up to you. Take your time, keep stalling, the show goes on :win:

So who wins if things gets stalled. Farmaajo he stayes in power. I believe that the elections process is in the hands of the govt so farmajo. When hassan sheikh Mahamoud was president he didn't say mamuul hebwl or hebel ba doorashasa diidan he held elections. And its basically impossible to hold elections 1 man one vote elections when half of the country is in the hands of shabaab. So back to farotaag

If by the end of this week the spoilers don't sign, then we should go for 1P1V.

Well to be fair N&N doesn’t 100% control their destiny either, so it’s interesting what would happen. Abey Ahmed has been able to tell the West go F yourselves, while N&N can’t. If they did they would have said tomorrow we’re having elections period.

That said, they have more cards, are on more stable footing then their opponents within Somalia, but they do not have the strength to force their will. So my opinion would be a stalemate. Business would go on as usual with the status quo. February 8 was almost 2 months ago, and not a single peep, so the whole ‘civil war coming’ BS is just that, BS that was all I was saying.

I do agree the civil war threats is useless and its baseless. Just dad bila masuul ah spread that. I don't think that any one in Mogadishu or the hawiye clan would want to fight for abdi Shakur or sheikh sharif. No one will throw a rock on their behalf they know it to.

If ilkoyar won’t leave peacefully, they will be removed by force. It has been done before, it will be done again.

If Siyad Barre had left, Somalia would have been saved but it is in your nature to destroy because you do own anything.

Farmajo has the responsibility to ensure that the electoral impasse is resolved peacefully. It's important Somalia never goes back to square one

^ No wonder you have been rendered persona non grata in qaldaan extreme Right wing circles. You have developed a soft spot for faqash and Wanlweynia.

It's never good to be extreme when supporting a political position. Shame some Landers don't heed this advice

Siyaad Barre left Mogadishu in January 26th, 1991. He never fired a single shot. He went straight to Gedo. USC went after him and captured Gedo temporarily and Darod population of Southern Somalia defended themselves from the USC rebels (who were Hawiye, by the way).

In the below video, you'll see the USC are holding a meeting/session in Somalia's parliament which appears to be in the same condition as it was under Siyaad Barre's government. This video is early 1991. Sometime between January and May 1991. Don't blame Siyaad Barre for Hawiye infighting that destroyed 90% of Mogadishu in 1991.

I plan on bumping this thread periodically. There was even a 2 year extension voted on yet still no ‘imminent civil war’. Again, I repeat the Sahan, HIPs, broke qaxootis need to eventually find another narrative.

Hawiye shirs are going on to where they are mockingly quoting Shariif ‘Wallahi Thumma Billahi’ for laughs

The likelihood of civil war occurring is low. thankfully.

Right now we should just be wishing for peace. We can't afford for violence at this time.
