Farmajo is a coward....... if he genuinely was popular he should have resigned on February 8th and, under an impartial interim government, the election would have been a showcase of whether Farmajo would have managed to win a second term
This is assuming Farmaajo is the one preventing elections from taking place. The opposite is more likely to be true. From what I understand it was Deni & Madobe with blessings from the opposition candidates who reneged on all the agreements they have signed.

Turbulence the constitution is clear that a presidential term is fixed at four years and there is no provision in the dastuur that says the president can have his current term extended. Mursal should have been the interim president at this moment in time
