Farmajo Speaks

Postby nine » Tue Apr 27, 2021 5:15 pm

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Tonight, I wish to address the Somali people, who have shown grave concern with regards to the current political situation and the future of the country.

As we have repeatedly stated, we have always been ready to implement timely and peaceful elections in the country. But unfortunately, our efforts were hampered by individuals, and foreign entities who have no aim other than to destabilize the country and take it back to the era of division and destruction in order to create a constitutional vacuum.

As a government, we have always been ready to implement, without any preconditions, national elections that are based on 17 September 2020 agreement, and the16 February 2021 Baidoa Technical Committee recommendations.

I would like to commend the efforts of H.E. the Prime Minister, and the Presidents of Galmudug, Hirshabeele, Southwest State and the Governor of Banadir Regional Administration towards peace and welcome the statements they issued on elections.

In order to successfully hold elections that are based on the above-mentioned agreement and recommendations, I would like to firstly call on all parties in Somalia to refrain from any and all actions that could lead to widespread instability in the country, including the politicization of the security forces, creating social divisions and the destruction of public property.

Distinguished Fellow Somalis,

The undeniable truth is that you have always stood by your government and continue to do so. You have demonstrated patience, maturity and patriotism.

When I was elected as your President, you marched out of your homes to support this historic victory. You deserve a government that further strengthens that vigorous sense of patriotism.

In reality, we will never allow the Somali people to fall into further destruction and displacement. Therefore, I call upon the parties organizing unrest, including politicians who were recently holding prominent political positions and are now aiming to assume public positions through chaos, to refrain from such acts.

The last few days have given people clear indication of who harbors good or evil intentions. We have seen the clear distinction between those who cause displacement and those who saved lives. Instead of becoming ones who caused displacement, we chose to save lives.

Political interests will end, but this land and this flag are eternal, and they must come before all of our other interests. We are also cognizant to the fact that it is our solemn duty to prevent any threat to stability and peace.

We have defeated numerous outside influences that have invested significant financial and human resources in order to undermine our country’s development and serve their own interests.

We refuse to allow our youth to be used as tools that destroy the lives and properties of Somali people.

Tonight, the Somali people will be able to distinguish between those who are working to prevent elections and destroy national institutions, from those who are championing peace, nationhood and the unity of the Somali people.

My fellow citizens, tonight, you will bear witness to those who seek to grab power through bloodshed and those who are willing to transition power through votes.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

As President, I am entrusted with upholding the constitution and have the duty to reconcile the previously reached political agreements with the latest Law passed by the House of the people. Therefore, I have decided to appear before the members of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament on Saturday to gain their endorsement for the electoral process that as agreed upon between the Federal Government, the Heads of Federal Member States and the Governor of BRA.

The Federal Government of Somalia has always believed, and still sees dialogue, compromise, negotiation and the return to the discussion table as the only viable options, while honoring the 17 September 2020 agreement and the recommendations of the Baidoa Technical Committee.

I hereby call upon all of the signatories of the 17 September agreement to come together immediately for urgent discussions on the unconditional implementation of the above-mentioned agreement.

Finally, I urge all security agencies to maintain the stability of the Capital and the safety of innocent civilians, avoiding any actions that may lead to insecurity. I also urge the Somali people to support the armed forces in this regard.

May Allah lead us towards the righteous path.

Contrary to much touted 'predictions', Farmaajo isn't resigning, and he's still Somalia's president.

These were the key notes in the speech:

1)Blasted Culusow, Shariif, Deni, Madoobe
2)No BS, sign the damn agreement no more stalling.
3)Farmaajo’s not resigning it seems so they will have to face him on elections.

it was a good speech and he exposed them really good. hassan sheikh and co all where pushing for clan warfare these are ex presidents who want to become future presidents pushing for clan warfare using guys like indhacadde.

the 17th September agreement they where against is the only agreement on the table. farmaajo is happy with 17 September agreement.

the qaran dhumis tried their hardest to destroy the somali army but only 3 banadir police commisioners joined them no one from gorgor/ haramacad or danab.

the army is intact the mutineers in the police will be fired and told to seek compensation from hassan sheikh. omar filish will deal with them.

Guudlaawe, Rooble and Qoor Qoor played their parts well.

Wixii edeb ku joogi waayo waala edbinaa. How many times did opposition warn about not politicizing SNA? Warning after warnings. You use to say hadal badanaa mucaaradka. Don't cry foul now bro. Farmaajo started this the moment he went after the opposition.

Sxb ciidamada on our side are paid by mp Mohamed Ali Noor aka 30 jir 30 million and mp Addow Ali Gees one of the richest businessmen. The business community supports mucaaradka. Shacabka are bringing iftar and suhuur on a Daily basis to ciidamada.

Abkowdhiblaawe,

On that point you were 100% right I won’t even argue. I was the biggest person who bashed Xassan Sh, Shariif for having zero ability to appeal to their Tol in the SNA, and out. I was wrong, and you were right.

By ‘Went after the opposition’ bro are you telling me you really believe the BS that they ‘were attacked’? They brought ciidan beeleed into North Xamar via defectors with the goal of ‘Afur in Villa Somalia’. In any event regardless of if you are Mucaarad, or Muxaafid it is a victory for Shacabka Muqdishu that there was no all out war, and that cooler heads prevailed. Allah hanoo sahlo Umuuraha.

PL won't take part in any shir & won't sign any agreement:
Arbaco, April 28, 2021 (HOL) - Puntland ayaa sheegtay in aysan ka qeyb galidoonin shir uu ku baaqay madaxweyne Farmaajo oo looga arrinsandoono arrimaha doorashada, iyadoo laga ambaqaadayo heshiiskii 17 september.

Bro yes they brought in SNA after Farmaajo attacked them several times before his mandate ended. Stopped them from doing peaceful protests etc. HSM iyo Sh Shariif oo Abgaal ah oo Muqdisho tahay their HQ did elections and accepted their loss. You think people will accept a marehan from Gedo to act like he wants in Muqdisho?

Many of the generals that welcomed Farmaajo in 2016 who personally took care of his safety are as we speaking in Marina. General koronto is a good example he even apologized for supporting Farmaajo in 2016 saying he genuinly thought he was a wadani.

Bro things have not changed. Alamtra wey so dhaaftay xitaa xalay mucaaradka made new defences in Yaaqshiid esp in Fagax, Ceel tubaweyne, Towfiiq , Baar Ayaan. Sh Shariif was expected to come back today from Dubai. He will reside ib Hotel Kaah in Fagax.

And Farmaajo should be quiet and not say a word after Parliament gives September Agreement the chance.

Foreign Minister Abdirizaq will be leaving Washington D.C having made the case clear the International Community cannot both tie the government's hand without using their role as GUARANTORS (ironically MADE POSSIBLE by the 2 Governors) to end the shenanigans of the 2 obstacles.

The invitation itself to come to DC is part of the "reassurance" this time things will be different.

Deni doesn't understand yet he has bitten way more than he can chew.

Abkowdhiblaawe,

You are doing dego tir, indho tir because it serves your narrative. You know damn well who delayed the elections, and why. But I don’t blame you because this was all orchestrated to create the idea that Farmaajo tried to avoid elections by Madasha. Even today if you are going to be daacad as a Somali did you hear Puntland today say ‘We are not coming unless Beesha Caalamka invites us’. How treasonous, and this is what Madasha also says.

Secondly you make it seem as if Xassan Sh, Shariif were just doing ordinary citizen, sitting at home stuff. All the news sites reported Madasha were going to leave Jazeera come into neighborhoods to attack Villa Somalia. How is Villa Somalia wrong for defending Government institutions? Sad thing is caqlixumadooda they only end up barakic’ing their own people, closing roads, doing mooryaan stuff. They are going on neighborhoods building defenses like it’s a video game, why? Nobody is after you.

Last but not least as far as Xamar goes, bro if Hawiye have a problem with a Non Hawiye being President, well Benadir is 1 region, Somalia is 18 regions, 5 regional states. If it’s such a issue having a Non-Hawiye very simple let’s move the Capital. However you want all this International attention, Port, airport, TurkSOM, etc as the Capital but also can’t stand a Non Hawiye. Again can’t have it both ways. Funny thing is you say Farmaajo is from ‘Gedo’ when he was born in Xamar, parents from Mudug. That said even if he was he had as much Xaqq as any other Somali to be President. I’m sorry but this BS from a lot of Hawiye is annoying.

If Hawiye have problems with non Hawiye president farmaajo wouldn't get the welcoming he recieved in 2017. Farmaajo's mandate ended in February and during his mandate they made misstakes after misstakes. Hada waa khalaas bro nothing between.

CCW got attacked in his house, 2 former presidents got humiliated , Ali mahdi's aun car got shot at, they tried to attack Senator muuse suudi. February 19th hotel Mai'da attack. Intaaso oo dhan evidence shacabka looga dhigaaye. After these many assasination attempt how can u say "nobody is after you"....

Also not many know. But the marina attack was a ploy to kill HSM. MM played a game with dowladda. All the ciidamo that arrived from MS who captured Fagax led by Saneey Abdulle "retreated" back to Gubaadley outside Xamar. When they actually didn't but sneaked into Marina. Dowladda thinking HSM in Marina being vulnerable without enough support said it's a perfect time to attack HSM kill him and say he died in a gun battle. NISA and gorgor attacked and got surprised of the number of ciidamo. They got defeated and then they made a second attack and lost that one too.

When marina was attacked not only SNA was defending, shacab was fighting too, even hirshabelle's spokesman took his arms. Wallahi even Guudlaawes son was fighting. Kaaraan is our mecca bro.
