My assumption is this is a lazy platitude in part fed by the exigency rising from my momentary, but legitimate, shaming.

Because I don't want to be a smart aleck, I will explain.

You are taking advantage of the moment.

And you are attacking me because of how I affected you as part of your experience separate to anything about this particular moment.

I called it "lazy platitude" because I assume, from you, the ability to apologize (which Kanye has shown to be capable of) is being falsely compared to being wishy-washy and ideologically unmoored ("flipflopping") which is what Kanye is most famous for.
