Fiqishni tribe is the same size as dhulbahante

The fiqishni tribe of sool is the same size population wise as the darod (dhulo) tribe yet they have been given less seats in Somaliland.

My question is why is the isaaq tribe so against hawiye in Somaliland?


A lot of isaaq are traitors because their mothers and grandmothers are darod and hence they work against Somaliland behind the scenes. The previous president of Somaliland siilanyo was accused of being soft on darod as his grandmother was darod and even when he was a young man his sweetheart in burco was a darod girl from the village of buhodle. As a result of these connections he refused to give the green light operations to destroy tribal terrorist groups.

No, I am actually for giving the darod regions of SL more autonomy, lascanood and badhan district shouldn’t be forced but at the same time the government in hargeisa shouldn’t appease certain communities while ignoring others. In sool region for example the gov focuses only on darod part, schools, roads, funding for lascanood and surrounding areas while the fiqishni, hj and hy communities of that region are ignored. Its madness and it’s surely wrong.

Siilanyo had family ties to darod and hence he was accused of being soft of certain elements. Biixi is a guy from hargeisa and doesn’t focus on eastern Somaliland which is again unacceptable.
