You are ignoring the elephant in the room. Darod is a tribe while isaaq is a clan, this means isaaq is related by blood while darod has similar culture but isn’t related by bloodline. This is why isaaq subclans fight and then make up lithe day after like brothers do but darod sub tribes have been killing each other and fighting for 30 year. I got nothing against Darod people, some of the best humans I met were darod.

1) the abtirsi of different darod tribes doesn’t make sense, the harti for example have different length abtirsi which doesn’t make sense since they claim to be brothers

2) your abtirsi has non somali names (koonbe, kuumbe etc) and your historical figures such as Theodore gotia don’t even have a Muslim name even tho they supposedly lived in a time when the isaaq and the dir were fighting to convert and colonise the Ethiopians.

You can blame Morgan, Abdullahi Yusuf and Puntland leadership for starting an unnecessary war and making Marehan furious. After that they could left MX civilians alone but they were killing and looting a defeated populace so MX militia took a hawkish response. The MX militia were seen as a hero for the civilians who were looted, had family killed and were forced to flee Barre was holding the mooryaan elements in Marehan who might have committed similar atrocities as Morgan. The likes of Col Cabas would make Hiiraale look like a libertarian then you would have a reason to complain.
