One thing I realized is there is a group within marexaan that want things to be MX vs OG/Harti because they are interested in power. Majority of these people are from galgadud and have no historical stake or land in JL. They want to turn people who have lived together for generations against each other. I’ve played into this as well.

The marexaan reer guri should be consulted with in JL and given their equity but these conflict instigators from galgadud should be deported back to cabuudwaaq. Farmajo represents these instigators.

Excuse me, Kismaayo has been a cosmopolitan, important Somali port city. My maternal grandmother' brother (Marehan/Wagardhac) was the biggest Somali commercial shipper in Kismaayo having gotten started in 1963. The many owned 80% of the dhaws from Kismaayo to Malindi even throughout the civil war. He still is in business but down in Tanzania. Even Twisted-Logic knows him so anyone who is rer Kismaayood should without me saying anything else.

Secondly, Kismaayo's two richest and most famous regional families even before Siad Barre's government were reer Sugulle (reer Siyaad/Marehan) and reer Yarow (Cali Dheere/Marehan). The most famous MJ Uunlaaye was more a national figure having made his money nationally. You even have the most historical and famous of Kismaayo' real estate, like the Meridian Hotel which was the first hotel established in Kismaayo once again before Siad Barre's goverment, started by guys Cascaseey (reer Kooshin/Marehan).

If you lived in Kismaayo, I lived in MOGADISHU. My properties are still there. My housr bought in out name is there.
