KDF= Kenyan defense forces. They were already funded by their own government , what ever they were receiving from other sources was a bonus . Kenya/Ethiopia thought they could use the pretense of 'regional stability' for their motives in Somalia forever it seems, problem is that they forget that their misadventures need serious coin. It's debatable that Kenya is better than Somalia. I've firsthand experience (unlike you) as I've lived in Kenya for a few years, and my impression is, it's far worse than Somalia. It's the country where someone accused of something (i.e. stealing) is doused with gas and lit alive. I've witnessed a thief who stole a pair of shoes at a mosque nearly beaten to death by a mob. There's too much corruption, pollution, insecurity (particularly Nairobi aka Nairobbery), poverty (average Kenyan is poor struggling to make the ends meet), etc. I would suggest you visit Kenya to see if for yourself.
