The refusal by Ahmed Madoobe's administration to allow a candidate of the Darod/Ogaden/Muqabul to enter the city of Kismaayo where the election of that MP seat has been designated is a game changing threat to Somalia's State Building Project that cannot br allowed to stand.

MP Seats are clan entitlements apportioned according to the standardized 4.5 methodology used to end the civil war by Somalis.

This means the Darod/Ogaden/Muqabul candidate is not only having the "privilege" of his free political expression suppressed, but his RIGHTS; his EQUITY under which the very basic constitutional order even exists, is dangerously being infringed upon

I WILL REMIND THAT SOMALIS ARE IN THIS SITUATION TO BEGIN WITH BECAUSE OF WHAT IS INFORMED BY THIS INFRINGMENT.


It is one thing to have the grandstanding displays of personality politics that featured most prominently in the Election issues up to this point, but it is a very different thing altogether to be playing Russian Roulette with the ultimate devil in the Somali closet.

I would also advice the federal government, given relaxed/unguarded puplic opinion and recent spectacles surrounding the right to free public association, expression, and movement; it is POSSIBLE the Madoobe administration maybe banking on attempting to create the wrong inference to be informed hy the laissez faire attention the Fed Gov has given this issue.

Madoobe Administration's actions are a game changer.

The entire Statebuilding Project must ríse to the level of this challenge.

Somalis have shown very clearly this challenge has a cancelling effect that cannot be allowed to get any bigger than it is right this second.

Once again, there is an issue with "logic" my friend. I do not know if you are acting in bad faith because you are motivated by politics or something else, but the effect is not something that shows sufficient comprehension of these matters.

1. There was no political contest at stake between the actors. In fact, there was no election and no political contest. I don't even mean that the Madobe coronation was a sham or not; I mean that the fact it was an event for that purpose and that neither President Farmajo or the other entities were competing against each other or in an open political contest in Kismaayo precludes this being about free exercise of the franchise.

2. Somalia's national government through the Ministry of Ports and Telecommunication already had a standing law enforcement adjudication in place relevant to flight operations before the political actors in question even publicly announced their intent to unilaterally and lawlessly physically challenge the standing law enforcement order.

3. That issue in fairness has absolutely nothing to do with BARRING A 4.5 APPORTIONED CLAN EQUITY ENTITLEMENT FROM BEING FREELY CONTESTED BY A CLAN MEMBER TO WHOM THE VERY MP SEAT IN QUESTION "BELONGS" TO AS THE SPECIFIC CLAN GROUP IN QUESTION.

I don’t disagree with you that what madoobe did is dangerous. The problem I have with you is you refuse to recognize your obvious bias. What farmajo did is no different. Sh Sharif was a former president and an obvious political rival, what business is it of the president to restrict his freedom of movement. You can argue that the context is different, but it is ultimately the same thing, the president used his authority for his political agenda.

1. What is ethical vs unethical is a question about human behavior and norms subject to society's perceptions about propriety. Something can even be improper/unseemly and present serious questions about principles but it has no legal binding.
   
   
2. What is about Law, particularly basic constitutional law like this case, is about adherence to the rules and regulations that we have "adopted" to be "governed" under the "system." It has a legally binding obligation.
