Despite all the money that is thrown into the abyss which is xamar, their is nothing good that comes out of it. Let’s be real, it’s a a cursed city. Ceerigabo should be made the new capital as it has a darood majority and isaaq minority(shared capital) unlike Xamar where 90% is hawiye who will unukaleh at anytime

How do you go about making a capital city a town that lies entirely within the boundary of another independent nation? Are you suggesting Wenlanweynians should convince the neighboring state of Somaliland to sell the said town in bilateral deal that shall henceforth be known as the Erigavo Purchase?

Ceerigabo is settled by Harti so we are the uptime arbiters of its fate. It will join Somalia as its capital soon

Somaliland is indivisible and fully separate from neighbouring Somalia

Ceerigabo is probably one of the most peaceful and quiet towns in sl.......nothing should disturb the peace there.

I'll probably locate to the town in the coming years.....it has everything, climate, water, mountains, farmland, beaches etc.

Don’t know why langaab harti claim ceerigabo and think habar yonis will allow darod to claim ceerigabo like habar gidir allows darod to claim galkacayo.


There is a reason ceerigabo city has always had a sacad yonis mayor and no darod mayor, the only darod in ceerigabo are darod women and ladies married to habar yonis men. They are welcome

Only darod women are allowed to live in ceerigabo sxb, so your sisters can get married to the hy locals and move there but I am afraid you won’t be able to

Ceerigabo is in our neighboring country Somaliland. If you must insist on making a foreign city our capital, I would suggest Addis Ababa or Nairobi

It's a beautiful, has cool weather and is a well planned town, i support this move.
