Ogaaden Absame interests and Beesha Hawiye

Postby Rebelxx222 » Fri Sep 17, 2021 8:21 am

My take on this is matter as an OG is Ogaden Absame do not entirely support Deni we only support him in his campaign to get rid of Farmaajo. For Ogadens to stand behind a Hawiye presidential candidate 2 things must be re-assured 1. Is that Farmaajo is completely removed from the race and 2. Is for that Hawiye candidate to nominate an Ogaden prime minister and there is no double crossing. The prime minister must be reassured. Sheikh sharif had a small chance to bring in Ogs to his table but he started moving further south. To answer your questions no Ogaden are not fully behind Deni. Deni is only seen as sharing same interest as us until the final lap which is the 2021-2022 elections. Past alliances will be of the past and new future alliances will be forged whether Allah ﷻ has fated upon it.

Personally I prefer a Hawiye president for the next 2-3 terms.

Simply because the current political landscape in the South demands it.

Any non Hawiye will be sabotaged at every turn.
Furthermore, we hope the presidency will have a civilising affect upon the Hag political classes.

Hopefully over time they will realise that by finally opening the country they stand to make more money than begging, stealing and scamming aid handouts.

It's political expediency.......at this juncture of Somali politics a Hag president is essential.
