Postby MrSinister » Sun Oct 24, 2021 12:22 pm

President of Puntland knocking on doors and campaigning for his party before the elections on Monday. Puntland has come a long way. I hope the rest of Somalia can learn a lesson here.

Didn't Deni play a big role in preventing 1P1V from taking place in the rest of the country?

With Puntland embracing "true" democracy, we now have, not one, but two fledging democratic nations in the Peninsula, the other being Somaliland, of course.

Deni started the process in the first 3 months after his election, if you want to implement 1P1V don't wake up when barely anytime left in your term like Faroole and Farmaajo did, otherwise people will assume you're not sincere and you want term extension.

The qaldaan and boon community seem to be angry about the elections happening in Puntland. The qaldaans because they know Puntland is just as capable of holding peaceful elections as them. It takes away the only argument they have for secession: Somalia is not peaceful and democratic.

The boons are angry because they are witnessing real leader in President Deni, who is able to keep his promises and has the support of his people.

While this is just a pilot elections in three cities, it is getting a lot of media and international attention. PL received congratulation from a well known and popular democratic US Congresswoman.

KAAH wins most Seats in Qardho. The other parties combined won more seats than Kaah, that tells you this was a fair and transparent election.

KAAH lost ufeyn and qardho the two biggest mucaarid parties joined forces and now are super majority. Deni's kaah party to even win eyl he needs to form an alliance with one of the other mucaarid parties.

however mideeye and sinnan asked to other mucaarid parties to join them so deni could even lose eyl. which means he lost all 3 districts.

Nomand,

That’s how elections work, you can’t predict the outcome.

Weren’t you claiming that President Deni rigged the elections and its a sham election. Now you and the cbb narrative is Deni lost?
