Winners and losers of upcoming Tigray led Ethiopia

Postby mahoka » Sun Oct 31, 2021 7:42 pm

As the reality becomes more and more unviable for the under powered Abey regime holed up in Addis Ababa, it’s becoming inevitable that the Tigray will once again take their rightful seat as the ruling/dominant class of Ethiopia.

This raises an important question, who will benefit from the Tigray rise and who will suffer because of it?

There are both internal and external actors in this.

Amhara will suffer
The abey gov officials will have to leave the nation, this includes abey’s rats such as cagjar and other state presidents who supported the campaign against Tigray

As for external forces-

Eritrea will suffer - this time their long term dictator will not survive the consequences - could mean huge socio-political changes in Eritrea

Sudan will benefit from good relations

We see Ethiopia disintegrating before our own eyes and the troubles would be internal and no country of the region would suffer as you suggest, unless you mean Hargeysa would be on the trail and more wooing for the illussional Ictiraf
