Bigreak, your problem like most Somalis is you are about extremes. There isn't only centralism or confederalism. There is something called "federalism, which is the officially agreed upon political system. This government is called the Federal Republic of Somalia. The transition government before it after TNG has been TFG or Transitional Federal Government.

This issue did not arose from or concern the Puntland State Military or " Puntland Dariish. It arose from Deni, a federal governer being the first Puntland President to interfere with the PSF forces of Puntland. Omar Abdirashiid Ali Sharmaarke himself said last week PSF were designed to be FEDERAL forces under the control of the Federal Government. That's why they were not into integrated to or were separate to the Puntland state military.

What ia happening is implemention of federalism and not just lipsync to it as has been Puntland's history.This is real federalism being implemented. PSF officially coming under the now ready Federal security system is a maturing of the system. Puntland's confederationalists have had the chicken come home to roost as was going to be the eventuality. We are a Federal system alright and you are going to adhere to proper checks and balances in federalism.

The real ''chickens coming home to roost'' for puntland will be when all of Mudug comes under Galmudug.

MashaAllah Farmajo it seems is ending de facto confederalism and bringing about de facto centralism (with a federalist facade). It's one thing Farmajo controlling all of Somalia's five FMS including Majertenia but it's quite another thing to reunify Somalia with Somaliland which quite frankly will never happen.
