Even the gareen state leaders laftagareen, qoorqoor are staying away from Gedo elections dispute, so far. Farmajo has lost all his political capital.

Farmajo brought 5 years of proxy war and political unrest to Gedo. Gedo will be the first state to benefit from his departure

Elaborate the political capital he lost. You're making the wrong assumption that Farmaajo cannot win re-election without Gedo.

I didn’t say whether he can win or not. He still has a chance, but a slim chance. Farmajo re-election hopes are dependent on getting votes from sws and galmudug, states he doesn’t directly control. Without Gedo mp’s, his chances are even slimmer. My point was before he could count on public support from the likes of laftagareen and qoorqoor, but on the gedo issue, they have been silent. They didn’t release a statement condemning ceelqwaaq selections. It could be an indication that his allies are jumping ship or at least weighing their options when it comes to supporting farmajo.

It isn't an indication; it's your wish & hope.
