Alhamdulliah the fire has been limited to just 2 stores and has not reached much of the market place & neighborhood.
Thanks to our rescue team for taking the initiatives and stopping the fire just in time. The Somali federal government led by PM Hamza Abdi barre needs to send humanitarian aid to the store owners who’ve lost their businesses. The regional & federal government needs to invest in a fire brigade that can independently operate within the city. The city needs more firefighters & fire trucks to help avoid future incidents like this.
