My take on this is that SFG and Qatar both support The Alshabaab Military leader Mahad Karates take-over of Alshabaab, whereby Qatar is actively and publicly aiding Karate by giving him an international platform and voice with his Political Party Office stationed in Doha.

So in the end whatever side of the Mahads takes over Somalia, one thing is certain that Somalia will finally have an permanent political leaders.

There is only one solution for the jihadis. Somalis should stop practicing Islam. You can't stop extremism when we are producing more children with the same idiology. Do not send your kids to the quran or arabic school. And we should bring back our old religion and traditions. Simple.
