1. Dhabad is in Western Galmudug, and although for some reason always considered part of the Caabudwaaq District in Galgaduud, it is really in southwestern Gaalkacyo district and part of Mudug region.
   • It is settled exclusively by Marehan/Wagardha especially Rer Wardheere
2. Af-Barwaaqo is in Eastern Galmudug, part of the Hobyo District and specifically the northern part of the Hobyo district considered southeastern Mudug.
   • It is claimed vehemently by Habar Gidir/Sacad especially Rer Nimcaale although the district would seem diverse considering there is a land dispute there between Sacad, Majerten, Sheekhaal, and Dir.

If you take the observable reality and take into consideration empirical analysis (from say the World Bank) giving similar contrasts;





One sees a story of growth and decline in central Somalia.

Galmudug should be focusing on development and service delivery by responding relevantly to the problems affecting the people of central Somalia rather than playing political gimmicks and ballooning the bureaucracy with non-existent administrative units to distract her suffering people.

As for Dhabad, as clearly can be seen, her recognition was overdue. Dhabat is a natural "degmo" and all such administrative organizations should reflect this reality.
