I agree with you about farmajo, it may end up being a wasted opportunity for a better government. The problem with most somali leaders even those with good intentions is they are led astray by arrogant tribalists from within.

My opinion is long term, somaliland as it exists now will collapse under the weight of its own corrupt elite. Maybe that means they fully join Somalia or some kind of confederation agreement but the current system is not sustainable.
