Why there is not much of fight going on in LasAnod - SSC doesn't have the logistical means
As someone who is neutral and has military knowledge I will view this from only the military POV.
1. LasAaanod is a small city with approx. 70k to 80k population and the terrain is very poor for fighting if you have light arms and if you don't have the firepower capability like SL. Somaliland armed forces have logsitical and firepower advantage with a good margin by a galaxy.
2. The Terrain is an open terrain and there is not many places to hide because it is a dry land with not many trees to use as shield hence why there only hope is to use the city itself as labyrinth. Which is why the City got shelled in order to expel the SSC hiding there. They simply don't have the logistical means nor the firepower to go toe to toe with the Somaliland armed forces out in the open. They can max hold within the city few days like 3-4 days but it seems like they only held for 48 hours this time which is next to the maximum..
3. Somaliland doesn't face militarily threat in the Northern regions of the country - Which is one of the reasons Puntland won't get involved because they simply don't have the logistcal means. Somaliland Armed forces have more firepower, logistics, manpower, disciplin.. They can't mobilize many like SL can from only Hargeisa they can mobilize endless cannon fodders on top of having firepower and logistical advantage and these are significiantly large margins which is why Puntland will never intervene or doesn't want any part of this because if they were to miscalculate SL army could march into Garowe and Boosaaso with extremely little effort which is why they failed to take Sool and Sanaag from SL to this day and beaten badly everytime they tried.. Like a walk there is no deterence in Garowe and Boosaaso if they really wanted it they can take it but the only deterence is that they don't want to anger Mogadishu which is why they are sticking with their borders for now but if given the green light from Mogadishu they can annex the entire Bari within days like less then a week

Biased viewpoint but then it's obviously you iidoor who's high on Qaat and all sorts of drugs who lives in denial and wants to give different narrative in order to save face
But your days of lie to yourself and the world are numbered
Calling SNM militias an army and over exaggeration their strength

Because SL voluntarily pulled from the city to allow dialogue a chance due to building international pressure and pressure from the greater public opinion. But they could have hanged on the city with ease and even advance to puntland. Both sides stop fighting because both sides listen to international communities and also outside of the shelling SL did both sides don't have stomach for this. Wars are fought for months and years. Look at Syria 9 years, look at Ukraine 1 year and entering it's second year. Look at south somalia when they fight they can fight for years. Imo both sides have no stomach for dying.
But my assessement was correct the Idoors flatlined the city and vacated due to International pressure building up and exited voluntarily and it happened with Muuse Bixii meeting with the US ambs and other international figures..

Yes sxb.....you were wrong, but you were right.
I should have used that tactic with my professors.
One thing your right about is that the iidoors don't have the will to fight. They were deserting in huge numbers, and refused to be drafted.

I doubt very many of them would be willing to go to the frontlines and die in the dirt for Lascaanood.
The iidoors have already seen truck loads of dead militiamen coming back from Lascaanood.
Don't confuse political support for volunteering to fight.
Tribal mass hysteria and anti Darood expressions is an iidoor national pastime.
