I dont want to be the one who brings the bad news, but if we talking about marehan being part of daraawiish thats some nonesense garbage i tell ya.Somalis from Burco region were the first Darawiish to join and later became disloyal to him, because he was descended from different tribal lineage. Some of the ogadens were against him,but his loyalist fighters were dhulos.

Ciao

Saddaam

You are a Daarood hero. No doubt about it. Keep posting the history of the Great Daarood tribe and their heroism and accomplishments. This is a chapter of Mareexaan history that is not well publicised. The Darwiihs movement was not confined to only the North. It reached every corner and all the Daaroods took part in it. Except the Isaaqs who are too much in love with the English.

And some dumb Cayr arseholes want to tell us about fighting for Islam when our grandfathers were dying in the thousands 120 years ago. The Only non-Daarood who fought who resisted the colonial forces were the Biyamaal. Respect to these distinguished Dir people.
