Nice try buddy, but I personally know that Cali Warancadde purchased his lions from Reer Isaaq, Ogaadeen nomads from the deep Hawd. He'll tell you so himself if you ask him.

Lord Delamere left Eton at the age of sixteen with the intention of entering the army, but gave up his military pursuits after inheriting his title at seventeen.1 He inherited a sizable estate, including the family home in Cheshire.2 In 1891, Lord Delamere made his first trip to Africa, hunting lion in Somaliland; he would return yearly to hunt, until 1894 when his leg was mauled in a lion attack, saved by his Somali tracker (who jumped on the lion) and his rifle.3 As a result of the attack, Lord Delamere would have a painful limp for the rest of his life and an increasing respect for African peoples.4

Due to the fertility and greenery of the Hargeisa region, wild animals (e.g. zebras) come to the area; to either breed or graze on the grassland savannah. There are many animals which can be found in Hargeisa. The prominent animals found are the Kudu, wild boar, Somali Wild Ass, warthogs, antelopes, the Somali sheep, wild goats, camels and many different types of birds. Due south of Hargeisa is a grassland savannah which attracts many types of wildelife to the area including lions and leopards.

According to BBC there is a large market for wild animals in Somaliland.
Or was until a few years ago Sad
Where do you think the bloody animals from Qatar and Dubai Zoo comes from ?

Spragga really this makes me sad , Even in Bariga Sanaag those bloody arabs steal animals from both of us . Bosaaso and Berbera .

Man there is no both fighting about lions in Waqooyie Galbeed or not when the same animals plus very very valuable falcons and eagles are shipped out of our ports for 50 dollars.

Do you know what a falcon is worth in arabta ?
10 000 USD ( 70 - 100 000 for a Tartar falcon )
Hargeisa
50 - 500 dollars

Only one lion cub was given as a gift.

It's true, the Arabs are looting our exotic wildlife. But what can we do eyh? Sad It's a plus that our population is small and our country so vast, which slows down this trade.

There are approximately 500 to 1000 lions left in Somalia, 80% of them are in 2 provinces of the 18: Lower Jubba and Middle Jubba. The rest are scattered all over the country in small numbers.

[quote="KUN-DILE"]
During the Artha Conference in Djibouti around 4 Dhabayaco politicians got a safe heaven at his house. It was the time when Egal and Ismail Omar Gelle felt out with each other and the border with Djibouti was closed over the conference issue. Col. Cabdilaahi Yusuf on part declared anyone caught going to Djibouti would be killed. Egal wanted to hand them Dhabayacos to Col. Cabdilahi Yusuf. They came to Warrancadde and seeked assylum in his house.

That reminds me of a few years ago after a war between SL and PL, the PL POWs in Mandheera Prison before they were exchanged with the SL POWs in Garowe Prison were frequently visited by and taken care of by a Majeerteen woman in Hargeisa who is married to a wealthy Isaaq businessman. She fed the boys, bought them new clothes and visited their families in Garowe to inform them about their condition.

She gave the iidoor 18 children gawdam! Laughing Laughing

Laughing Laughing would be able to challenge Puntland. Expect his head to be cut off and hang in the air for a public show.
