James Dahl, i think somebody mislead you those guys were Arabs not Ogaden, i think its best you post it on the general discussions so alot of people can give your their voice.

I'd like to use this forum more often :)

Well historians are never really clear as to the origins of the dynasty, and call them a "Somali/Arab dynasty". Considering Darood is a Somali/Arab group, I don't see how it's impossible at all.
