The country with most influential/interesting history

Postby Samatar10 » Fri Aug 19, 2011 3:20 pm

Out curiosity, I’m just wondering how people take this question well distanced from each other.

I hope I haven’t neglected serious contenders to the ‘prize”. I myself is a victim of my won geographical location, history and political brainwashing, not to mention my relative ignorance of other countries.

I deliberate did the option of Britain or England. These familiar with the British history, this should not require an explanation. That is “Britain” had only been a country for a short time and a lot of people will argue that it has its roots in ‘England’, in contrast, others will argue that Britain was the nation that held all the power synonymous with the British empire.

Drop any stories that need to be told about other nations/states.I'm all for learning something new. :geek:
