Ahmed weyd

Postby ganaane1 » Tue Aug 21, 2007 5:42 am

With respect to thsi AHMED WEYD issue, it seems that people are somehow confused. Claims that Ahmed weyd is part of farh ugaas is also misleading.

For the record. Axmed weyd is another name for Ahmed Hussein Yusuf (reer Ahmed). Weyd is here refered as (thin) or (Caato). Shire Jama, cited in many texts is also the brother of Shabeel Jama Elmi. They were both brave worriors and took a big role in reer Ahmed's relocation from mudug to Gedo.

Reer Ahmed inhabit the Dawo part of Gedo. Mainly Be/haawo, Doolo, Gweyne and Luuq.

For more information about the Ahmed Weyd issue, refer to Sayid Mohamed Abdille Hassan threatening gabay " Ahmed weyd gaagaaban..................
