Luq, there's this stereotype prevalent in Somalia that Majeerteen women are the feisty women of Somalia.
We don't hate majerteens. Laakin their greed is amazing. It is what destroyed daroodnimo.
Where was Daaroodnimo when Siad Barre marginalized and opressed the Maxamuud Saleebaan? One single event turned us from topdogs to underdogs. You were forced to use our very own brothers: Majeerteenka kale, Dhulbahante and Ogaadeen to keep us in check and minimize our threat level to the state.
You're damn right we don't settle for anything less than the ultimate prize, the top ladder, numero uno. When it comes to business, we're on top. The entire Isaaq tribe competes with us Majeerteen, a subclan of Daarood. When it comes to military, we're up there! We're the only clan with troops from Woqooyi to Jubbada. When it comes to politics, no need for further explaining.
Spragga its actually true, the Marexaan take their livestock to berbera, there is a good relationship between the Isaq and Marexaan traders, they meet up in the hawd.
The Ogaadeen, Dhulbahante used to take their livestock to Berbera like everyone else north of Beledweyne back in the day, but since a long while take it to Bossasso. They're doing it out of noble, tribal principles. The Hawiye selling their livestock in Bossasso are doing that because it's better business for them. Heck, even many Isaaq take their livestock to Bossasso.
Why are you guys still taking your xoolo to the iidoor?
we take our livestock to the isaq to berbera for a couple of reasons
first they the isaq are a civilzed people.
second we dont have any clan wars with them
3rd they dont want our land
4th they wont call ethopia to bomb our cities
5th they wont use the money to buy weapons and attack us the next day.
