war we need to stop helping them and start teaching em, I blame the endless cycle on us because all we do is give out hand outs and they learned to be depedant on US.

Agree with you that we need to teach them. But there somethings that they can not do for themselves.

Inadeer, as far as I know Galgudud/Mudug was always a arid semi desert enviroment and the abaar that happens there is partly understandable as this was a problem during the last regimes, laakin run ahaanti the problem with the abaar in Gedo is partly preventable.


When a place doesn't have any maamul for almost 20 years, there is no planning, no strategy, no back up plans, no trees being planted, no orginized irrigation of the land, no coordination with NGO's, no Governer/Authority to interface with the international community, nothing.


The diaspora has done everything they can, laakin We need to get out of the constant phase of gargaar and panic every time to one of readiness to take care of these problems as they arise. I know it seem like I'm beating up these points, laakin runti inaan isku sheegno waaye sometimes even if its not pretty.
