Reer Cali Xuseen

Postby Warsame101 » Thu Jun 19, 2008 1:53 pm

were amongst the first Reer Guuri. I mistakenly assumed that they were Reer Galti.

Reer Guuri: Reer Xasan, Talxe and Reer Cali Xuseen.

Reer Galti: Cali-Dheere, Hawrsame, Reer Axmed, Reer Faarax Ugaas, etc.

Murax, what the hell is afguri and af galti, wallahi I don't think there is any difference. Sadeboi thinks he can pick up but I have a better ear then him and can't. Many reer gedood sound like reer caabudwaaq to me and vice versa

Like I told you, my uncle, dad's youngest brother, is married to Cali Xussein and i never noticed anything different in her or her family's speech

Thats exactly What I thought too. I never traced any difference between the Way My Pops, cousins (Half Cali Xusayn) Aunt or the way My Mom and Abti's speak. Maybe Sadeboi's talking shyt.

As far as coming 1st, then that means We came with the conquerers to give Da'wah fii sabeelelah to the people

I'm going home and saying I'm reer Guri tonight. Warsame if I get slapped its Your fault

SHanka, reer Hassan go deep in Ethiopia all the way to Nageyle so some of them have Garre and Degoodiye speech. Maybe that is what you heard.

The thing I noticed with Raxanweyn is, if they are not speaking May-may but af-Somali, they speak normal Somali. I never notice accent with them either...it is the reer Xamar, whether cad-cad or beezaani Somalis from Xamar, and the Xaayoow Hawiye that sound different to me

Qansa do Cali Xusayn speak like that? Let Me know because I wouldn't know. I'd doubt it because of they live among Galti Marexaan not among the guuri.

Murux,

It is suprising how some of us who haven't been to Gedo try to explain who is Galti or reer guuri..

Waligaa mamaqashey..
